WORKING MEETING WITH THE PRESIDENT OF THE CIVIL ORGANIZATION INCLUSIVE

In the premises of the Agency, a working meeting was held with Mrs. Blagica Dimitrovska, the President of the civil association Inkluziva, which promotes the rights of persons with special needs. At the same time, Ms Dimitrovska indicated that contact has already been made with three pilot municipalities (Prilep, Gostivar and Dojran) to implement the Project for inclusion in access to public information for persons with disabilities.

The main goal of the project is the application of the right to free access to public information within the framework of local self-government in an inclusive manner, accessible to persons with disabilities, as well as increasing the capacities of all stakeholders for the importance of exercising and realising this constitutionally guaranteed right, through education and information about the benefits of inclusive-proactive transparency.

At the same time, it was agreed to hold training for the employees of the Agency to strengthen the skills of Agency for Protection of the Right to Free Access to Public Information employees for the inclusion of persons with disabilities in terms of exercising the right of access to public information. According to the plan, this training should be implemented at the end of November 2023.
