WORKSHOP TO SUPPORT PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES IN EXERCISING THE RIGHT TO FREE ACCESS TO PUBLIC INFORMATION

In cooperation with Inkluziva, on 29.11.23, our Agency participated in the realisation of a workshop with the employees of the municipality of Prilep, which was also attended by the mayor of the municipality Prilep, Mr. Borce Jovceski.

At this workshop, the participants were introduced to the meaning and use of the right to free access to public information, the importance of transparency and accountability to citizens, and how to provide adequate support to persons with disabilities when exercising the right to free access to public information. During the practical part, the attendees received appropriate instructions on how to improve the technical functionality of their website in order to improve the accessibility and comprehensibility of information for people with disabilities.

The workshop is part of the Project for Inclusion in Access to Public Information for Persons with Disabilities, which is supported by the Open Society Foundation – Macedonia.
