WORK MEETING WITH THE MINISTER OF JUSTICE

The Director of the Agency for the Protection of the Right to Free Access to Public Information, Plamenka Bojcheva, and the Head of the Department for Administrative-Legal and General Affairs, Isamed Selmani, held a working meeting with the Minister of Justice, Krenar Loga.

One of the meeting topics was the ratification of the Tromsø Convention, which our country signed in 2009. The need for appropriate changes in the legal solution for the protection of the right to access to public information was also discussed.

At the meeting, it was concluded that the right to access public information is essential for maintaining democratic values ​​and is closely related to citizens’ fundamental rights and freedoms.
