THE RIGHT TO FREE ACCESS TO PUBLIC INFORMATION FOR PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES MANUAL

21.05.2024

The Agency for the Protection of the Right to Free Access to Public Information, in cooperation with the Association for the Promotion and Development of an Inclusive Society “Inclusiva” from Kumanovo, as part of the Project for Inclusion in Access to Public Information for Persons with Disabilities, which is supported by the “Open Society – Macedonia” Foundation, prepared a Manual on the right to free access to public information for persons with disabilities.

This manual aims to inform persons with disabilities about the right to access public information, which is one of the constitutionally guaranteed rights.

Free access to public information is a process in which persons with disabilities have equal human rights, like all other citizens, and this manual will enable them to familiarise themselves with the legal rights to request and receive public information that is in their interest.
