REPORT ON THE CONDUCTED ACTIVITIES ARISING FROM THE LEGAL COMPETENCIES OF THE AGENCY FOR THE PERIOD JANUARY-JUNE 2022

The Agency for the Protection of the Right to Free Access to Public Information has prepared a six-monthly Report on the conducted activities resulting from the legal competencies for the period January-June 2022.

As a secondary authority in the process of implementing the exercise of the right of access to public information, the Agency faces the biggest challenge arising from its basic competence – to conduct administrative proceedings and decide on complaints from information requesters submitted against the holders of information in cases where they did not act in accordance with the provisions of the Law on free access to public information.

This report contains data on the Agency’s handling of submitted complaints in the period from January 1 to June 30, 2022, in which a total of 184 complaints were submitted.
