SIGNING OF THE MEMORANDUM OF COOPERATION BETWEEN THE AGENCY FOR THE PROTECTION OF THE RIGHT TO FREE ACCESS TO PUBLIC INFORMATION AND THE MINISTRY OF INFORMATION SOCIETY AND ADMINISTRATION

The Minister of Information Society and Administration, Jeton Shaqiri and the Director of the Agency for the Protection of the Right to Free Access to Public Information, Plamenka Bojcheva, signed a Memorandum of Cooperation. This Memorandum advances the cooperation between the Agency and the Ministry in the field of free access to public information.

By signing the Memorandum, the parties express their willingness to cooperate in the field of free access to public information, thus raising public awareness of the right to free access to public information and building capacities for consistent implementation of the legislation.

The subject of this memorandum is to educate the employees of the Ministry about the exercise of the right to free access to public information and increase active transparency in the direction of consistent implementation of the provisions of the Law on Free Access to Public Information, as well as counselling on issues from the scope of its competence.
